I remember California

The kind people at The Poynter Institute have published a piece that I wrote about my experiences at the Los Angeles Times site. It's called "Eight Things I Learned as a 40-Year-Old Intern."

    Hi Andy,

My name is Lauren and I am a student in the College of Communication at Boston University and the Co-Founder of InternshipRatings.com. InternshipRatings.com is a resource to rate, research and compare internships in various industries across the United States.

I just read your article about your internship at age 40. I thought it was really great that you can see the value of an internship at any age. I would like to talk to you further about your internships. We recently launched an advice column on InternshipRatings.com and I think you would make a perfect contributor.

Please let me know if you are interested.
    Thanks!

    Lauren,

Thanks for the kind words and the invitation. I'll let the "normal" interns handle the advice on your site, however.

Please tell Denis Wu on the BU faculty that I said hello.
