It was fun. We had to wait for a while for anything to do, and then suddenly all the stories came in at once.Whether online or in print, some things about election night remain the same. What's different now is the online commentary (such as this) about media coverage, particularly reporting by student journalists.

Sounds good -- if one's newspaper has not made a dreadful and all-but-declared move to a universal copy desk, or does not force trained and experienced copy editors to "edit" high school poetry or do clerical tasks formerly performed by laid-off and otherwise disppeared office staff.
